I am from a place where dance is poetry, and song is prayer.

I am from a place where there exist a market solely run by women called “IMA MARKET.

I am from a place where diversity thrives,In unity, our strength forever derives.

I am from a place where brothers take a stand,

Protecting the people, the land.

When leaders fail, they rise above,

Guarding with strength, their duty, their love.

So here I stand, proud and true,

In Manipur’s heart, my roots imbue.

 

I am from a place which is ignored by its own country.

I am from a place where the government failed to protect its citizen.
